how was CVU’s Lozon not selected……
I agree with “innocentbystander.” Sofia Lozon put the team on her back and had exemplary work ethic. She is the one to emulate, and she should most certainly be on this list.
You are both correct, Sofia should have been included. Her performance in the semi-final game, four 3s and play throughout the year was impressive. Possibly the best foul shooter in the Metro. Way to go Sofia!!!!!!!!!
Overall good selections, it is a tough job to select to select the most talented. I would like to see an all-defensive team. My first two picks would be Ali Wells-best lateral defensive movement I’ve seen and Elana Bayer-Pacht-best angles on defenders and staying in front of player.
Without a doubt Sofia Lozon should be in this list.
How can Isey Esposito not be on this list and Aliza Benoit, Spaulding is… She was injured and did not play most of the season.. This is political junk and means nothing in my mind. Isey play solid all year, a captain and a starter…This list is a joke.. I am sorry to say!!
Overall, solid slections. The comments about S. Lozon are right on as she should have had some type of acknowledgement. Her performance in the semi final game was very impressive.
Essexbballfan, I agree with your comment about Isey. This stuff happens every year to a few kids. The fact is however that Isey nad her teammates/coaches are well aware of her contributions, that’s what counts!!! Go Isey
