
Eric Craig scored with 3:23 remaining to give South Burlington a 3-2 win over Colchester in boys hockey Wednesday at Gutterson Fieldhouse. The game was moved from Leddy Park due to a compressor malfunction.

Matt Leonard scored a goal and had an assist for South Burlington (17-2). Tommy Royer also scored for the Rebels while Matt Baechle, Bernie Thibeault, and Sam Finkelstein had assists.
The Rebels came back from deficits of 1-0 and 2-1 in the win. Nathaniel Young finished with 22 saves for the Rebels.
Avery Steele scored off the opening faceoff six seconds into the game for Colchester (11-7-1) and Matt Cuce had a goal and an assist. Devin Dessormeau and Nate Frieberg also had assists. Josh Place stopped 29 shots for the Lakers.

Your right Paul…..this game had the feel of a playoff game from the start. I wish the final 4 were played at “The Gut” like they used to be.
