High School Girls Hockey

South Burlington Crushes CVU 10-0

The South Burlington girls hockey team beat CVU Wednesday night. The Rebels tapped in three goals in the opening five minutes of the contest, helping them cruise to their first win of the season.

Senior Molly Higgins’s first-period hat trick, part of four goals total, helped push South Burlington (1-1) out to a 5-0 lead after the first period. Dayle Sargeant scored twice for the Rebels while Kayleigh Ehler-Vock, Sarah Fisher, Nora King, and Julia Hudson each added a goal.

South Burlington’s Courtney Barrett finished with 11 saves. Nicole Sisk made 25 saves for CVU.
