- CVU and South Burlington will battle for both the boys and girls soccer titles today at Burlington High School.

South Burlington Rebels beat a strong CVU team and an official in this game. As a 13 year USSA ref and ref assessor, I was embarrassed by Bill Edwards officiating, yet again…. I thought the low of his career was a horrible pk call against the rebels when they played MMU, which the replay clearly showed was in error. But no…. Vt continues to let incredibly inept officials ref high school soccer games…. There were no less than a dozen VERY poor calls in this game, and the Rebels were lucky to pull this one out. Judge for yourself and watch the game tape. Either one of the worst officials ever, or very anti SB…. Either way, totally unacceptable. Please do not let this idiot officiate in the playoffs…..
