“U guys should def post the lax ones ASAP.”
The lacrosse ones haven’t been emailed to me but I will post them when I get them.
Well deserved honor for Nick Swim.
Nick Swim has developed into one very fine baseball player — a great all-around athlete. If UVM still had a baseball team….. After a prep year, some school will be very lucky to grab not only a tremendous individual competitor, but a great teammate as well. Rock solid.
Elderton should have gotten it. Elderton had him beat by a landslide in every offensive category except for batting average which he was .060 points behind Swim in. The All-Metro selections are bogus. Echo and Nick were CVU’s best pitchers and they got 2nd team behind Mikell?? Same thing with Poland/Rensch at Rice. The way they choose is a terrible way to choose because they just put up a stat sheet and pick the guys with the best numbers when they don’t take into account what happens during the game or who each team is playing. It’s a disgrace to Vermont baseball because it’s all that there is as far as a ranking systems go.
