Lakers baseball players play games in spite of hail and pouring rain Thursday.
Today’s baseball game between Division I contenders CVU and Colchester was postponed to Saturday at 3pm. The game never got past pre-game introductions and was held in doubt for 90 minutes due to lightning. Check back Satuday for the result of the make-up game.
I’m #34 on CVU, and I have to say that was one of the best times I’ve ever had on a baseball field despite not actually playing. We had one of the best act-offs of all time, and I had a great time playing the salmon/swimming and doing a number of other things. Big props to the whole Colchester team for playing along, and I have to say that Volleyball skit was pretty awesome. As much as I’d love to get our game in…. I’ll be prepping new material just in case

Sorry Ryan… I only took a few because I didn’t want to get my camera wet, and the few I did take came out blurry. I thought I was going to have a couple of the battle photos.
