Is this a misprint or did you forget to list Tim Rensch from Rice. There is NO way he shouldnt be on this list.
No misprint. Rensch really came on strong in the final month and voting was due 2/24. Coaches do the voting so maybe not enough of them saw his play late in the season.
Rensch did receive honorable mention from Metro coaches so his play was noticed by area coaches.
Wow is pretty much all I can say. Also Granei should be on that list as well. Sometimes I wonder if people understand the difference in talent between D1 and D4. Take nothing from Copeland, I heard he is legit. But I haven’t even heard of some of these kids!!! Oh well.
barron is ballin….. that is all
First off, do you realize that there are kids from d3 and d4 that could play at d1 and get recruited by teams like rice. Also, Brianna Robare, just throwing it out there but she averaged over 15 points 6 boards and 5 steals a game as a sophomore.
Jaskin Melendez and Johnathan Mitchell from MSJ deserves to be here hands down !!
Did MSJ really lose to Rice by 78 in a scrimmage. “just saying” be honest?!?!?!
listen not only nate salgo and chad copeland legit but could play at any d1 school in the area. see this is common mishap for critics. d1 overall is a much higher level, but the best players at d3 and d4 can easily be some of the best players in d1 and d2. ive witnessed proctor beat rutland in summer league. people put way to much into the size of the school. that is all the division says the size.
Are you serious umm no they didn’t MSJ played rice in a scrimmage 5 quarters and lost by 9 won by 2,lost by 1,lost by 3 , and by 1 again and i know because i was there but nice try !!!
jason manwaring is a freshman at a D4 school. averaging over 16 points a game. enough said.
To repy to “just saying”, obviously you weren’t there at the rice vs msj scrimmage. The only part of the story you got right is the 5 quarters. The lost by over 30. I was there.
). Nice try, ha ha ha
Suder isn’t an underclassman
just-a-fan: I would double check when this article was published. Plus it is based off a press release from the VBCA.
