Colchester topped Mt. Mansfield 6-1
Wednesday night at Leddy Arena, the Colchester girls hockey team beat Mt. Mansfield 6-1. Sophomore Kayla Dion finished with a hat trick for the Lakers. Colchester dominated with 46 shots on goal versus only eight for the Cougars.
Ashley Prim had the lone goal for Mt. Mansfield four minutes into the second period. Rowan Hayes and Kristina Ushakova assisted on the score.
Autumn Hallock had 40 saves for Mt. Mansfield while Gretchen St. Pierre stopped seven of the eight shots she faced.
Next up, Colchester is at Leddy hosting Spaulding on Tuesday. Mt. Mansfield stays on the road to take on U-32 Monday afternoon.
