Casey Harman Signs With Cubs

The Chicago Cubs announced today they signed left-handed pitcher Casey Harman to a minor league deal. Harman was selected in the 29th round of the 2010 Amateur draft out of Clemson University. He still had one year of eligibility left at Clemson.

Shelburne LL suffered a loss at the hands of Fairfield American LL Saturday night as they opened play in the 2010 New England Little League Regional. Shelburne Wins Vermont Little League Championship

Shelburne Little League beat Bennington to win the 2010 Vermont State Little League Championship for 11-12 year olds. Shelburne won 4-1 at Schifilliti Park in Burlington.
Next up for Shelburne is the New England Region Tournament in Bristol, CT. Shelburne will play the Connecticut state champion Saturday, August 7th at 8:00pm.
